Spinning Across
This Earth…
1 Bright birds. so many of
them & they aren’t always
birds in the traditional sense.
2 Fires little ones that
pop up everywhere you will
have to leap around them like
a fox.
3 Flowers it’s good when
that happens.
4 A blue period where
You’ll write “I regret
nothing” over & over in a
book kept beneath your pillow.
5 Bees mainly in your
hair.
5 Hanging clouds that
refuse to rain.
6 Floating flowers -
dif. from above these
ones were blown from
their stems.
7 Stars. Late sleeping as a
result.
8 Arrows. Piles of them get extra tricky
when couples with #2
9 Fireflies (they are helpers) & white
moths that are little ghosts.
10 Oh wait, I numbered this weird. oh
well… 10. Hands. Open hands.
11 Your perfect body. You will light
it from within like a paper lantern.
12 Magical thinking. land there
and rest there for awhile until the
fires get going again.
